What time is the earliest we can check in?
Check in is from 2pm unless prior arrangements have been made, sometimes guests may just wish to check into hotel, collect room cards and leave car in car park when attending a local wedding etc. This is fine, however, we do not guarantee access or availability of rooms prior to 2pm.
What is the latest time we can check in?
Reception closes@ 8.30pm, we are happy for guests to arrive after this time but they must phone ahead and advise so we can explain the self check in procedures, we kindly request guest checking in late are considerate of others staying at the hotel and keep noise to a minimum.
What time is check out?
In order to prepare rooms for future guests we kindly request rooms are vacated by 10.30am unless a late checkout has been pre booked.
How much is a late check out cost and what do we get for the money?
Late check out is charged at £25.00 per room this includes breakfast served to your room (full English additional £5.00 per room supplement)offered between 8.00am and 10.15am you are then able to relax and chill out until 2pm. This service is subject to availability.
Do the rooms have teas and coffees facilities?
Yes all rooms are equipped with kettles, we offer a selection of complimentary coffee and tea upon your arrival, any extra additional supplies can be purchased from reception. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS GO TO THE MYTON HOSPICE.
Do you have an iron we can use?
No problem, all we ask is that you leave the iron and board outside your room when finished with for other guests use.
Is there food available at the hotel?
We do not offer formal dining at the hotel, however there are numerous quality restaurants within easy walking distance of the front door(see local area section). For those who just need a quick fill, we offer ready meals @ £5.00.We are also more than willing to supply plates and cutlery for those opting for a local take out.
What time is the bar open until?
We do not have any formal closing times and offer no late bar as such, closing time is dependent on demand, to avoid disappointment, if you wish for a night cap when you return from an evening out we will gladly serve drinks to your room ready for your return, just pre-order from reception prior to going out.
Can we park more than one vehicle in the car park?
We have sufficient parking for the number of rooms the hotel offers, this said we can often accommodate 2 cars for 1 room no problem, please advise hotel prior to check in as we may ask you to park in the front car park in tandem during busier periods.
Is the parking secure?
We offer camera surveillance for the hotel & grounds and the main parking is to the rear of the hotel, this said all vehicles and contents are parked at owner's own responsibility.
Do you have Wi Fi?
We do have free wi fi throughout the building, this is subject to the incoming service providers speeds and connections, this said we rarely receive any complaints.
Do you accept group bookings?
Yes we are happy to accept group bookings of 2 rooms or more, we will ask for a 25% non refundable deposit to secure rooms. We will however hold rooms for a group booking where guests will be paying individually for rooms, they will need to confirm rooms 2 months prior to arrival date and their own credit card details will secure the room, the standard cancellation policy will apply, all rooms not confirmed prior to 2 months of the arrival date will automatically be released.
